According to the Cape Verdean authorities, the passports of foreign travellers must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of arrival in the country.
Cape Verdean passport holders, Cape Verdean nationals holding foreign passports and foreigners with residence permits in Cape Verde need their passports to be valid on arrival for at least 1 day after entering the country. If the passport is expired, the passenger must obtain a travel document - Salvo Conduto - from the Consulate.
