Sports equipment can be carried free of charge as hold baggage, as long as it does not exceed the weight (23kg in economy class and 32kg in business class) and dimensions allowed (158cm in the sum of height + length + width).
Additional charges will only apply if it is necessary to carry more baggage than the passenger's fare allows, or if it exceeds the maximum size or weight limits.
If sports equipment exceeds the size, weight or number of pieces allowed in the free baggage allowance, you can check the purchase price for extra baggage applicable to your customer's journey in your GDS during the reservation process or you can add it to the reservation later on. Prices may vary depending on the type of extra service, the purchase channel*, the time in advance of the purchase, the date of the journey, and the origin and destination.

BIKE - Bicycles and Tandems
Non-motorised, mountain or racing bicycles and tandems may be accepted as checked baggage for transport in the hold.
Conditions for Transportation:
- They must be packed with the handlebars on their sides and the pedals must be removed;
- Alternatively, the equipment has to be wrapped in cellophane or similar and packed in a cardboard box;
- It is recommended that the handlebars are turned 90 degrees and held securely in this position;
- The maximum weight allowed is 32 kg / 70 lbs.
- If they exceed the maximum dimensions or weight limits as per the purchased fare, fees will be applied.
- Reservations should be made as soon as possible, preferably before check-in opening.

In line with ANAC rules, passengers flying from Brazil may carry a bicycle without an engine, provided they are properly packed (with pedals removed and the handlebars turned 90 degrees relative to its normal position) as long as it complies with the dimensions of the limited luggage allowance - up to 158 cm (62 inches).

Each passenger can transport their golf bag to carry all the equipment. This includes 1 pair of golf shoes.

- Additional fees apply if the equipment weight exceeds the baggage allowance permitted on the ticket.
- Regardless of their actual dimensions, will be considered as 1 piece of 158cm.

SCUBA - Diving gear
One set of scuba diving equipment is defined as:
- One empty scuba tank,
- one scuba regulator,
- one tank harness,
- one tank pressure gauge,
- one mask,
- two fins,
- one snorkel,
- one knife,
- one spear gun
- and one safety vest.
Conditions for Transportation:
- Accepted as checked baggage only.
- Regardless of the actual dimensions scuba diving equipment will be considered as a single piece of baggage with outside linear dims of 158cm/62 inches.
- The maximum weight will be 32 kg / 70 lbs;
- In order to be checked as baggage for transport in the hold, the scuba gear must be properly packed so that it can be transported safely and resist the normal pressure of the cargo compartment.
- If equipment contains underwater torches check the chapter “Restricted Articles – Regulation for Dangerous Goods” for safety rules that must be followed.

- Kitesurf and windsurf equipment, as well as surfboards, must be properly packed in appropriate bags and it is mandatory to inform the measures and weight when booking space, in order to guarantee they will fit through the aircraft cargo door.
- Passengers are requested to fill out the relevant Declaration of Transport. In the absence of this document, or if the equipment is not properly packed, acceptance will follow the carrier's rules and procedures, which may include the usage of Limited Release baggage tags or even refusal to transport.
- If exceeding the size or weight limits, a fee will be charged. The maximum weight will always be 32Kg.

- The maximum weight will be 32 kg / 70 lbs
- The equipment must be transported in an appropriate travelling bag, to ensure it will arrive at its destination in fit condition.
- Transport of sports equipment will be subject to confirmation depending on the equipment size and/or operating aircraft. Therefore, it's recommended to book space at least 48 hours before departure.
