COVID-19: more flexible rescheduling of flights

These procedures are no longer valid.

Due to the current situation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have extended the possibility of rescheduling the flights waiving the change fee, for any TAP route and for any ticket with an original travel date up to the May 31, 2020.

From now on, the reservation change can be made up to 24 hours before the departure of the first flight, rescheduling the new trip to any destination until December 31,  2020.

Conditions:

  • Waive of change fee, but fare and taxes difference will be charged  if applicable;
  • Change can be made for dates and/or routes;
  • New travel date permitted until December 31, 2020 or within ticket validity, whichever occurs first;
  • Valid only for TAP operated flights;
  • Valid only for reservations in which no flight has been flown;
  • The validity of the ticket cannot be extended;
  • Valid for  award's tickets (paid with miles), change only can be done via the Contact Center;
  • Valid also for Corporate reservations.
  • Endorsements: REBOOKING DUE TO COVID-19 or  REROUTING DUE TO COVID-19
Attention! In case of voluntary cancellation of the reservation or flight cancellation by TAP, a non-refundable VCHR may be issued for the total amount of the unsused ticket. The amount can be used for new travel within one year from the date of issue of the VCHR.

Valid for totally unused tickets, with original travel date until the  May 31, 2020.

From March 19th, use the link https://reembolsos.flytap.com to issue the Voucher. Until this date, request the issuance of an EMD to your TAP Help Desk.

Note:
If the journey is after the 31st of May 2020, we recommend that you await the development of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.  When the  travel date is closer and if the pandemic persists, check with TAP to confirm what alternatives are available.
