Thinking of our customers, we have improved and diversified the special meals offer with new, healthier, and tastier recipes: vegan, gluten-free, low-calorie, and other options to suit all tastes.
You can order a special meal for your client, free of charge, at least 24 hours before departure.
Special meals available:
- Economy Class - on flights of more than 5 hours.
- Business Class - on most flights longer than 90 minutes (with meal service).
On certain flights, especially those including stopovers and flights with overnight stays, special meals are not available, with the exception of kosher meals, which can always be requested.
It is also possible to celebrate on board of our planes with Birthday or Wedding Cake and Sparkling Wine.

Food Allergies and Intolerances
If the passenger has any severe allergies due to the ingestion of certain food, it is possible to request a special meal suited to their needs.
Make sure the route is eligible and request the correct meal no later than 7 days before the departure of each flight.
If the passenger has a severe allergy due to inhalation/exposure (in the air) to any food, TAP cannot guarantee that the aircraft cabin is free of the allergen in question, since the in-flight service cannot be changed and we cannot control the food/products that other passengers bring on board.
To avoid any inconvenience, before traveling, we recommend that passengers consult their doctor and, if necessary, have in their cabin carry-on the appropriate medication for their condition.

Meals for Babies and Children on Board
TAP offers special meals for babies and children.
The baby meal (BBML) is available on long-haul flights and in Business Class on some medium-haul flights.
The children's meal (CHML) between the ages of 2 and 11 (inclusive) is available:
- In Economy Class on flights lasting more than 5h
- Business Class on flights lasting more than 90 minutes (with meal service)
- They are not served on flights with overnight stays on some stopovers, which are catered for both outbound and return (double catering). Any special meal reservation request made on these flights will receive "NO" or "UC" and an error message, with the exception of kosher meals, which can always be requested.
- Not available from TMS.
